Our goal is to make technical systems more comprehensible for users and to support people better in their everyday activities. Human-centeredness includes also that we use findings from psychology and neuroscience to make algorithms more efficient, flexible and general.

Our work is based on classical AI techniques such as search, planning, knowledge representation and machine learning. Inspired by human capabilities we strive to develop less rigid algorithms that are appropriate for dynamic, uncertain and human-centered environments.
